In a terrible story no matter how you look at it, a pilot crashed and was killed at Compton-Woodley Airport in California yesterday. It was the same airport that the pilot who was going to fly the Eagles banner “We got DeMarco! :)” out of and over Cowboys training camp. At first, it looked like it was the pilot that was hired by EROCK to fly the banner over the Cowboys practice, but it turns out that it was another pilot and the airport was shut down after the crash.
But, it’s still a terrible tragedy and we want to help any way that we can. A few of us are coming together and details will be released soon on how we can help the family of that pilot who was killed. Stay tuned.
This banner stuff was fun, to an extent. Some people were annoyed, but I thought it was funny. Eagles fans organized one first, then Cowboys fans organized their own, which included a donation from notorious woman-beater, Greg Hardy. Their banner flew over the Linc yesterday – during the national anthem. On Military Day.
