After Being Cut By the Eagles, Tim Tebow Is Returning to Television as an Analyst

We all thought Tim Tebow locked up the third quarterback roster spot after the Eagles traded Matt Barkley, but the Eagles cut him. We then all assumed he would wind up back on television as an analyst, and he is. Today the SEC Network announced he’d be returning to the station. [SI.com]

Former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow will return to television as an analyst for the SEC Network, the channel announced today.

Tebow will appear this Saturday on SEC Nation, the network’s conference-specific,College GameDay-type show. Tebow served as an analyst for the show last season.

“Tim quickly developed into an excellent analyst last year, and we were not shy about acknowledging his home at ESPN should he be available to return,” said John Wildhack, ESPN Executive Vice President.
