Tim Tebow the Answer? Champ Bailey Says, “Hell No!”

Earlier, we discussed the idea of Tim Tebow coming back to the Eagles, with Sam Bradford set to miss at couple games possibly due to injury.

Would some fans and the media love it? Absolutely! Should the Eagles do it? Champ Bailey would seem to think that’d be a bad idea.

Champ Bailey was on The Herd with Colin Cowherd today and said something we probably already suspected, but never heard from the lips of a former teammate. The future Hall of Fame defensive back played for the Broncos for 10 seasons, and retired last year. He also played with Tebow, who, Bailey said, was so bad in practice that coaches told the scout team to take it easy on him. That’s right – players not talented enough to even be on the active roster had to take it easy on him.

Regardless of your feelings on Tebow, it’s hard to fault Chip for cutting him. How do you hold a roster spot for a quarterback when you never know what you’re going to get during a game? That says something when we are currently employing Bradford and Sanchez. The models of inconsistency. Admire him for his personal life, but please stop calling for him to be back in the NFL, let alone on the Eagles. We already have enough problems!

H/T to The Herd

It’s amusing to read these lying Tebow haters. said hell no. H said they tried to help him get in a rhythm. He finished by saying he came out a played he’s a baller. They took what suited them from the interview. Did anyone pay attention to this preseason? He out performed Barkley and Barkley’s on a team. Let’s all just cut the shit. Every coach in the NFL knows if they sign him they do so knowing they will eventually have to start him and they are afraid of that. I can assure you there are several teams out there right now had Tebow been their starter would not be in the mess they’re in right now.

Tim Tebow scored 16 TDS with 5 Ints in his first 271 attempts, 7 rushing scores in his first 8 games.
Bradford has scored 9 TDs with 10 Ints in 274 attempts.
Kaepernick has scored 6 TDs with 5 Ints in 243 attempts, 1 rushing score.
Wilson has scored 9 TDs with 6 Ints in 234 attemtps
Foles has scored 7 TDs with 5 Ints in 220 attempts, 1 rushing score.
Can you tell which QB is different? The 32 coaches and 32 GMs can’t.
