John Oliver Brilliantly Destroys Notion That Daily Fantasy Sports Isn’t Gambling

Over the last couple of months, we’ve been covering the Daily Fantasy Sports scandal. My main argument has been not that Daily Fantasy Sports is bad, but that it is gambling and it should be regulated. I realize that many of you love playing DFS and some even get referral bonuses by referring friends to join these sites, but why should we continue to put our hard earned money into sites like DraftKings and FanDuel, if they can’t even be honest with us and acknowledge the fact that they are indeed gambling sites?

Last night, John Oliver brilliantly destroyed the misguided notion that DraftKings and FanDuel aren’t gambling sites.
