Mychal Kendricks: “The Redskins Have Something Coming to Them”

The time is now. The Eagles are where they want to be with destiny in their hands. Two wins and they’re in. Believe it or not, if the Eagles win out, they will make the playoffs, as improbable as that once seemed.

First thing’s first. This week the Eagles host the Redskins on Saturday night. Washington leads the NFC East right now, but if the Eagles win, all they have to do is win up in New York against the Giants. Washington looked dominant for the most part on Sunday in their 35-25 win against Buffalo. This week will be no easy task for the Eagles and one of their players just gave the Skins some bulletin board material.

Eagles linebacker Mychal Kendricks spoke to the media after their 40-17 loss against Arizona on Sunday. He had the following to say via NJ.com:

Just keep working. That’s the cliche, cookie-cutter answer, but it’s the truth. We just have to keep working. I mean, if I know this team and I know myself and the guys in here, man, the Redskins have something coming to them. For real. That’s real [crap]. That’s all I have to say about that.

Either the Eagles man up and take it to the Skins or the season is over.

The Eagles lost 23-20 to Washington in their first meeting. Let’s hope that there’s a different result this time around – or it’s going to be a long offseason for the Birds.
