Flyers Sign Key Player to Multi-Year Extension

The Philadelphia Flyers announced today that they have signed Michael Raffl to a multi-year contract extension, according to general manager Ron Hextall.  Raffl has eight goals and nine assists with the team this season. He’s in his third season with the Flyers and he has a total of 38 goals and 29 assists for 67 points in 196 games played.

TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun of ESPN reports that the deal is for three years with an average annual value of $2.35 million. The Flyers are currently sitting at 28-22 on the season and Raffl surely has been a pleasant surprise this season.
