Philly Influencer: Phase II

A letter from Sean Brace to you, the reader.

Now that we’ve made it through football season – and it was a great season for us here at PhillyInfluencer.com – I just wanted to give all of our readers an update on what’s in store for the future.

First thing’s first, all of us here thank you for making Philly Influencer a part of your daily routine. We put analytics on the site on August 1, 2015, and it has been amazing to see how fast our numbers have progressed. That’s the beauty about what we’re doing – we love the feedback, good and bad – but at the end of the day, we can see exactly what’s hitting or missing because of the numbers. As you can see, we’re still very early in the process of making the site fit exactly what our vision is. We’re not even a year into the building of the site, but things have quickly been moving in the right direction.

That brings me to a few updates, events and additions I’d like to talk about for you, the readers.

Let’s start with the events! I’m very excited to announce that PhillyInfluencer.com and the fine folks over at BleedingGreenNation.com are teaming up to throw the absolute best Eagles draft party in the area! On Thursday night, April 28th, our draft party will be taking place at Nick’s Roast Beef on Cottman Ave. There will be a live broadcast, Birds tickets and gear giveaways, great specials and a few other surprises! Trust me, I am putting every ounce of energy in my body to make this party the best event I’ve been a part of.

Also on the radar, we will be hosting Philly Influencer Field Trip’s to the Phillies home opener on April 11th and a Philadelphia Union game in the near future. We’re still ironing out a few details but look for those announcements soon.

Now, to the additions. Please welcome our new Eagles reporter, Adrian Fedkiw! Give Adrian a follow on Twitter (@TheBitterBirds). Adrian has a great feel on what’s exactly happening with the Eagles and has created a nice following for himself over the past few years. He’s outgoing, level-headed and committed to bring you, the reader, a different way of getting your Eagles information. All of us are super excited about this addition to the PhillyInfluencer.com team, and I can’t wait for all of you to read exactly what Adrian will bring to the table. You won’t be disappointed.

Future additions will be happening very soon, as well. Here’s a hint on one of the positions we’re looking to fill: It’s baseball season, boys! Yup, we’re looking for someone that has the pulse of the Phillies, MLB in general and social media this baseball season. A more detailed post about the position will be published soon, but if you’re interested, please email me ([email protected]).

And now to the part that makes me tremendously excited and just proud of what we’ve put together so far: The update. Without giving away too many details, we are currently in the process of redesigning the site. The original layout was started to get the ball rolling and see what works. With that being said, our goal has always been bigger than just a blog. We want to create a community and a place where your voice can be heard. A place that values your time and thoughts. After the redesign and future additions, I fully expect to be on our way to creating exactly that.

Once again, from all of us at PhillyInfluencer.com’s content side (Nick Piccone, Seth Vigor, Andrew Martin, Rachel MackMike Castiglione and now Adrian Fedkiw), we greatly appreciate you taking time out of your day and reading our posts! We look forward to building our community and satisfying your content cravings even more.

Sincerely,

Sean Brace
