We told you earlier that Sam Hinkie has officially resigned as General Manager and President of Basketball Operations of the Sixers. The team has now released their official statement.

CSN’s John Gonzalez is also reporting that the Sixers approached Hinkie about a “new structure” and Hinkie wasn’t having any of that. He then resigned.
