Hispanic Fiesta

Date: Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing

Description: This event celebrating Latino culture draws thousands.The celebration is an instrument for cultural awareness that fuses music, food, arts, and people  of nearly all Hispanic cultures. Entry is free but food and other souvenirs are pay as you go.

Back to the Future screening at The Mann Center

Date: July 9th

Where: The Mann Center

5201 Parkside Ave.

Time: 7:30 PM

Description: The Mann Center accompanied by The Pittsburg Orchestra will screen the film Back to the Future. Guest can bring picnic style dinners and the event allows BYOB. Costs range between $25-$55.

Parks on Tap: Shofuso Japanese House & Garden

Description: Through the months of July and October, guests can enjoy free music and movies while trying a selection of beer and great Philadelphia food trucks. It’s also dog friendly.

Lion Babe at The Filmore

Description: This New York based neo-soul duo brings their eclectic show to Philadelphia this Sunday. The tour follows their recent mixtape release Sun Joint.


Radio 104.5 Summer Block Party

Where: The Festival Pier at Penn’s Landing

Description: This band rotating summer tour’s lineup features: Kongos, The Strumbellas, Bleached, and The Wild Wild. Take in the music of concert, various food venders, and drinks. Hosted by Radio104.5, this concert is the perfect way to spend your Sunday night.


Live Stream Nuevofest

Description: This live stream,  hosted by WXPN, features performances by seven diverse Latin alternative artists: iLe, The Chamanas, Cartas a Felice,Quitapenas, Calma Carmona, Gasolina, Sexy Zebras.
