What I look for in a quarterback
Accuracy- Being able to fit the ball into tight windows, hitting the receiver in stride and put it on the proper shoulder. They need to exemplify timing, touch and arm strength.
Intelligence- Being able to read the defense, making the right decisions, calling the right audibles and line protections and anticipating and feeling the rush.
Leadership- Can the quarterback instill confidence in his teammates to get through adversity? How does he bounce back after making a mistake and throwing a pick-six?
It Factor- Do you have that competitive fire? Are you tough, physically and mentally? Is your strive to succeed greater than your fear of failure? I want to see calm and poise in two-minute situations.
