Report: Eagles to Start Carson Wentz in Week 1 If Healed from Rib Injury

Many think that Chase Daniel would become the starting quarterback now that Sam Bradford is a Minnesota Viking. Not so fast.

According to Adam Caplan, the Eagles are planning to start Carson Wentz if he’s recovered from his fractured rib.

This is what many of us wanted when the Eagles drafted Wentz. Re-signing Bradford looks like an even better move now that they were able to re-stock their draft picks by trading him.

Chase Daniel is pissed. More:

I mean, I guess I understand why Daniel is pissed. He was technically second string behind Bradford and one would assume he’d become the starter after the trade. But he’s had a terrible preseason and, although Wentz missed three preseason games, he still looked like a guy that was way more comfortable than Daniel.

The Wentz Wagon is in full effect.
