Terrell Owens Still Wants the Eagles to Sign Him

The Philadelphia Eagles have to fill a roster spot, Terrell Owens thinks they should give him a call.

Owens tweeted out Thursday afternoon while in Portugal on vacation that he was doing a light workout “just in case (the) @Eagles make that call.”

The tweet comes after the 42-year-old Owens said he was “available” to play for the Eagles on Oct. 31.

Owens hasn’t played in the NFL since 2010 when he caught 72 passes for 983 yards and nine touchdowns for the Cincinnati Bengals. He spent two years in Philly and led the Birds to a Super Bowl appearance in 2004 when he hauled in 77 receptions for 1,200 yards and 14 touchdowns. He had nine catches for 122 yards in Super Bowl XXXIX coming off a broken ankle.
