Audio: Jeff McLane Explains His Ejection from the Eagles’ Press Box on the Radio

Jeff McLane’s ejection from the Eagles’ press box on Sunday became a huge story. There were many things said by media members and fans, and the person who ejected McLane released a statement.

What we were hearing pretty much was what most were saying – McLane took the most exception of the reporters when Zach Groen yelled at them to be quiet while they were discussing a call on the field. McLane and Groen had a private conversation, McLane came back to the press box and was ejected 10-15 minutes later.

Anne Gordon said McLane violated the press box rules, and while nobody exactly denied that, the other reporters were a little bit dumbfounded because apparently what had happened is pretty much normal.

McLane was back at the NovaCare Complex on Monday doing his job, and his press credentials were never revoked.
