More Fallout from Jeff McLane’s Eagles Press Box Ejection

Before the Eagles-Cowboys game ended, we received word that Jeff McLane was being ejected from the Eagles’ press box due to a noise complaint. Les Bowen was among those vocally defending McLane. And he even tweeted this:

He wasn’t alone. Then, Bowen tweeted after the game that the person who ejected McLane apparently said they’d eject everyone and not care about the fallout.

Now, there were people inside the press box who said the area was more noisy after McLane left than it had been before he left, so this entire situation has everyone confused. The fallout absolutely should concern the Eagles, considering the behavior exhibited towards the reporters who cover their team.

Now, obviously, they have a right to do that. I also don’t expect all the reporters to pack up their things and leave in protest because they also are there to do a job. However, it certainly seems like they singled out McLane for a transgression that apparently didn’t cause as much commotion as the proceeding moments inside the press box.

It’s all very confusing. But this certainly won’t be the end of us hearing about it. Stay tuned.
