The Morning Brew for Jan. 23, 2017: Crazy Hockey Brawl, Super Bowl and Boomer Gets a Set

A lot of emotions this weekend for a lot of people. A very non-sports weekend that ended the Conference Championship games.

Let’s get to it.

The Falcons scored on the Packers, and again, and again, and again, and again, and they are going to Super Bowl LI. [NFL.com]

The Steelers lost LeVeon Bell and lost the game as well. Patriots head to another Super Bowl. [NESN]

In case you checked out of that AFC Championship game early, and I don’t blame you if you did, a former Eagle got an interception which REALLY sealed the game.

Chris Berman had a sendoff on NFL Countdown on Sunday, which included a dedication and a surprise visit from some old friends.

If you like fighting, hockey, or fighting in hockey, you’ll LOVE this.

Reportedly, Antonio Brown was encouraged to go Facebook Live and maybe even was paid to do it. [Pro Football Talk]

I just found out about Titanic Hoops, but it is great and so is this video featuring Big Shot Bob and his clutch three against Portland.

    Thanks alot Phil. We try to keep a good flow of material and stick to the facts as much as possible. Obviously, the difference of opinion is what makes us all unique, but that’s what the sports market is all about. No personal attacks here. Unless we are talking about Chris Christie. LOL
