It’s that time of the year again! The time you close your blinds, turn your lights off, and wait for your neighbors children to walk away from your door. It’s also time to party. Halloween weekend in Philadelphia is days away. Here’s a list of some great costume and exciting Halloween themed parties in the area.

Witchcraft Beer Crawl: Tonight East Passyunk Avenue will be full of spooky adventures. Over 15 locations will have tremendous food and drink specials all night long. The bar crawl will have a gift certificate prize package worth up to $325.

Thursday, October 26, 2017 

Shadow & Flame Present Prospero’s Ball at Fringearts / La Peg: This Thursday night at 7PM FringeArts will be hosting a masquerade ball. There will be live music, a DJ, cocktails, and more. Tickets are first come first serve at the blowout affair.

Friday, October 27, 2017

Wicked 6: XFINITY Live! will be taking advantage of its six venue space and hosting a multi-party event. There will be multiple costume contests with up to $2,5000 on the line, drink specials, live music, and so much more. This is one of the biggest parties in the area.

The Devil’s Crawl: Several bars throughout the city will be participating in the Devil’s Crawl. This unique Halloween themed bar crawl will have the masses out in the streets in their best costumes. On top of the 27 drinking establishments involved, there will be complimentary snacks and contests as well.

Manayunk Haunted Brewery Bash: Manayunk is always a great place to  go for a good time. Halloween weekend is no exception. Manayunk Brewery will be hosting a brewery bash. There will be a costume contest, food buffets, and a DJ. This is one of the many passport pass bars in Manayunk. The passport pass will allow you to get into multiple Halloween parties in the area.

Heaven & Hell at Lucky Strike: Bowling and entertainment hotspot Lucky Strike will be having its annual Heaven & Hell party this Saturday night. The event has multiple open bar options, Best Individual Costume, Sexiest Costume, and Best Group Costume awards. Ther will be candy, live music, and Halloween giveaways.

Fright Night: JD McGillicuddy’s in Manayunk will be celebrating this bone chilling holiday with drink specials including Miller Light and Fire ball, multiple DJs and dance floors, a light buffet, and Halloween costume contests.

Ghosts & Goblins: This is the 10th year of the annual Halloween party at Mad River. General admission is only $10 a VIP access is $30. DJ Renzo in the Lodge and DJ Kev will be spinning in the Main Room and there’s a $500 costume contest prize.

Nightmare on Main Street: The Bayou Bar will also be hosting its massive chilling party Nightmare on Main Street this Saturday night. with $10 entry and a $15 VIP ticket, this is one of the most wallet friendly parties in the city. There will be food, cocktail specials, and costumes all around.

Nightmare on Broad St: XFINITY Live!’s return to this list is exciting VIP Ultra Lounge, NBC Sports Arena, 1100 Social, and PBR will be overflowing with drink specials, live music, and give ways. The party will be hosted by MC Jason.

RedRum: Come to JJ Bootleggers for a frighteningly good time. There will be a light buffet, a DJ mixing the best and latest hits, and more. There are VIP open bar options and a $300 costume contest.

House of Horrors: If you want some Spider Cider and Miller Light come to the House of Horrors at Sona Pub & Kitchen this Saturday night. The $10 party will be going all the way until 2AM. Come out in your best costume.

Unmask Your Spirit at Coda: Downtown hotspot Coda is offering up a free with RSVP Halloween party this Saturday night. Sponsored by Barcadi, tis party will have a lively DJ playing music from all genres and a rocking dance floor.

Vampire Vixens: DJ Ronnie D will have the party jumping at Zee Bar. There will be three costume contests with prizes up to $500, drinks, food, giveaways, and more at this costume extravaganza.

Rittenhouse Row Trick or Treat: Square 1682 will be having its annual Rittenhouse Row Trick or Treat this Sunday. There will be Colombe spiked hot chocolates, free candy for kids, and a unique brunch available at the location.  This is an event that your entire family can enjoy.

City Tap House Halloween: City Tap House Logan Square will be hosting a Grease Lightning Halloween Party. Guests are asked to dress as their favorite Grease characters and gear up to dance along to DJ Timmy DeSimone.

Dad’s Hat Haunted Happy Hour: The Twisted Tail will be hosting this Dad’s Hat Happy Hour this Monday. From 6Pm through 10PM there will be $5 Dad’s Hat Cocktails flowing. The establishment will also have a Haunted Halloween Carnival this Friday, October 27th with fortune tellers, a live band, drink specials, and more.

Ocean Prime: Ocean Prime will be serving up a devilish cocktail all Monday. The Witch’s Couldron has Belvedere citrus vodka , house made sour, marinated cherries, Domaine Chandon Bruit, and is topped with dry ice. The event is $10.

Day of the Dead: Is it even a Halloween party if you don’t celebrate on the date? SPiN Philadelphia will be having a Halloween night party that’s free with RSVP. Face painters will be in the building to paint you in traditional Sugar Skull Art. There will be many drink specials and the music will be blasting.
