Philadelphia is a major spanning city. It’s always brimming with exiting new activities and things to do each week. Sometimes answering the simple question of where to eat or get a quick drink can be overwhelming. Each week Philly Influencer will highlight some new places and local favorites to add to your list. 

Root: Fishtown eatery Root is known for its trendy interior and tasty menu. The restaurant and wine bar has various small plates which includes fired chickpeas, Pan Con Tomate, croquette, and more. There’s an extensive brunch menu and of course, plenty of cocktails and wines to sample.

Pizzeria Beddia: Right near attraction hub Frankford Hall is Pizzeria Beddia. This is the place in the city for an optimal pizza eating experience. With a wide range of pies each night, you’ll never be letdown by stopping by this Fishtown gem.

American Sardine Bar: From vegan meatloaf to flavorful wings, this gastropub has a menu that will make even the most picky of bellies smile. The Point Breeze spot has a happy hour that includes half off certain menu fixtures and all cans. Quirky selections like Bacon Blackberry Grilled Cheese and the Spaghetti Squash Sandwich, makes this place memorable.

Las Cazuelas: Las Cazuelas is a BYOB you need to add to your list if you’re looking for some great Mexican food. The casual Northern Liberties location has both indoor and outdoor seating, over a dozen different tacos for all dietary needs, and has some fantastic authentic entrees.

Stag and Doe Night: Chestnut Hill will be brimming with people all throughout the streets tonight. It’s the neighborhood’s annual Stag and Doe night. The shopping excursion festivities will allow for many bars and restaurants in the area to whip out their specialty menus and discounts.

Noche De Paz: Taller Puertorriqueno  will also be hosting a lively event tonight. There will be live music, food, and more at this Silent Night themed soiree. The event will support hurricane relief in Puerto Rico. The event runs rom 6:30PM-8PM.

Old City Holidays: Historic Holiday Nights is one of the annual features in the city each year. Old City lights up the season each Thursday with tremendous sales in shops, great food and drink specials at participating restaurants, and historic attractions that ignite warm the holidays.

Bourbon Blue Happy Hour: Bourbon Blue will be hosting a Merry, Merry Happy Hours this Thursday night. From 5PM-7PM come try the establishments holiday concoctions and small bites. There will also be live music.

1776 Bar Crawl: The Betsy Ross House will be having a Thursday night extravaganza of its own. starting at 5:30PM the Tippler’s Tour: Yuletide Cheers and Beers will be taking a crowd of energetic drinks to various pubs in the area. There will be plenty of winter brews to go around.

Rep Your Flag Party: Trilogy Nightclub and Hookah Lounge will be firing up the best beats from around the world this Friday night. The club will be hosting a blowout Rep Your Flag party starting at 10PM. This dance floor will be the place to be on Friday night.

Eagles Away Gameday: The Eagles being away won’t stop XFINITY Live! from partying. The game will be on multiple screens at the event center this Sunday. The first 500 guest get a free Miller Lite and there will be specials throughout the afternoon.
