Jon Dorenbos is getting a Super Bowl ring

Jon Dorenbos, the Eagles long-time long snapper was traded to the New Orleans Saints earlier this season. During a routine physical given by the Saints it was revealed that Jon Dorenbos had a heart condition that required open heart surgery. The condition, an aortic aneurysm, is known as a silent killer. The trade to New Orleans quite literally could have saved Dorenbos’ life.

Fast forward to Super Bowl Sunday. The magic man himself was in attendance, cheering on his former team. It was a good sight to see. I don’t think anyone in this city had anything against Dorenbos, if I’m being honest I think he is one of the most well liked athletes in the city. That said, let’s fast forward to the end of the game where this happened:

How cool is that? Jon Dorenbos will be honored as a member of this team and get a ring of his own. He deserves it.
