Eagles release Mychal Kendricks

The Eagles have released Mychal Kendricks, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

ESPN’s Field Yates reported that Kendricks was cut with a post June 1 designation, meaning the Eagles will receive $6 million in cap space instead of the $4.4 million had Kendricks was released sooner.

Les Bowen interacted with Kendricks earlier in the day and didn’t seem to notice anything was about to go down.

Rumors have been going on for years regarding the Eagles either trading or releasing the linebacker. And, according to Emmanuel Acho, Kendricks isn’t miffed.
