This Week in Cocktails: Parks on Tap at Clark Park

Parks on Tap will be at Clark Park this week. The nomadic beer garden will be setting up its hammocks, food trucks, and vendors at this scenic University City park. There will be a happy hour each day from 5pm-7pm, free yoga on Thursday, movie screenings, and of course plenty of food and brews. 

The hours are Wednesdays and Thursdays 5pm-10pm, Fridays 4pm-11pm, Saturdays 1pm-11pm, and Sundays 12pm–10pm.

Closing this Week: Center City Sips and Old City Eats

For the last several weeks Philadelphians have been able to partake in discounted food and drinks each Wednesday and Thursday. This is the last week you can enjoy wallet-friendly options for Center City Sips and Old City Eats. During Center City Sips each Wednesday between the hours of 5pm-7pm over 80 participating locations have $6 cocktails, $5 wines, $4 beers, and appetizer discounts. Here are this week’s best deals. During Old City Eats each Thursday, between the hours of 5pm-8pm, over 25 participating locations have half-priced appetizers, $5 beers, $5 cocktails, and other drink specials. This is your last chance to join in on this Summer culinary favorite.

Each week, Philly Influencer picks the best parties, events, and social gatherings the area has to offer.

&Wingz: This Friday night Golf & Social will be hosting &Wingz, a stellar happy hour event. The party will be running from 4pm-10pm. There will be beer pong, Jenga, Hip-Hop karaoke, hookah, board games, and of course plenty of wings. DJ Nite Crawler will be playing the best music out.

D’ussé Palooza: The official Roc Nation Made In America pre-party takes place at the TLA this Friday night. D’ussé Palooza will be going from 5pm-10pm. The after-work mixer will feature DJs, a packed dance floor, and of course the beverage of Made In America D’ussé VSOP Cognac.

NOTO Philadelphia Made in America Weekend: This weekend NOTO Philadelphia will be hosting several events. The entertainment venue’s Made in America kick-off party, The Host, will be on the menu this Friday. Saturday night Meek Mill will be in the building performing and hosting an after-show party. The weekend will culminate will a blowout Ty Dolla $ign party on Sunday, September 2nd.

Moshulu Welcome to Philadelphia Party: This Friday night the decks of Moshulu will be filled with partygoers from all over. The official Welcome to Philadelphia Made in America Pre Party will feature a two-hour D’usse open bar. There will be a DJ, live music, and is a rain or shine event. It’s free to enter before 11pm with a RSVP.

Daycation Day Party: This Saturday September 1st, from 3pm-9pm, Grunners Run will be hosting the Daycation Day Party. There will be complimentary BBQ while supplies last, $3 Crown Royal you-call-it, discounted hookah, cigars, and more.

Grits and Biscuits: Come out to the TLA for the second time this Saturday night for Grits and Biscuits. The 2010 party creation by E.Z.Mo Breezy, has all the appeal of a true southern hip-hop party. Doors open at 9pm.

Drake and Rihanna vs. Jay-z and Beyoncé Party: This Saturday night The Foundry will be hosting a Drake and Rihanna vs. Jay-z and Beyoncé Party. The DJ will be playing the top hits from these powerhouse hitmakers all night long.

Made in America All White Day Party: Come to Vango Sky Lounge this Sunday between 5pm-10pm for their All-White Day Party. There will the best mix of the best hits blaring from the rooftop speakers and the drinks will be flowing.

Mad Decent Block Party with Diplo and Friends: This Sunday come to The Fillmore for Mad Decent Block Party with Diplo and Friends. The acclaimed producer and DJ will be in the building getting the party going and the dancefloor rocking. The event starts at 10 pm.

Everybody Is Somebody: Made in America Afterparty: In the same building as The Fillmore, Mir Fontane will be hosting an MIA afterparty at The Foundry. The party for the hip hop act begins at 9 pm.

Afrofest: On Sunday, September 2nd, the TLA will be hosting Afrofest 2018. The door open at 9pm for this Labor Day Weekend blowout party. The best in Afrobeats, Hip-Hp, Dancehall, Soca, and more will be played.
