Shooters Radio: Evolution of wrestling fandom; live commentary of Flair/Steamboat III

This week, Nick and Vaughn revisit last week’s discussion of sexual predators in wrestling and how we need to be accountable and call that out. They also discuss the latest in the WWE COVID-19 breakout at the Performance Center, with Renee Young, Kayla Braxton, and Adam Pearce publicly stating they’ve tested positive.

Then, the guys discuss the evolution of their wrestling fandom through their childhood to adult years. With the wrestling industry just in a sucky state right now inside and outside of the ring, hopefully a trip down memory lane and discussing how their fandom’s changed through the years will bring a little joy and memories back of when wrestling was, dare we say, good.

They round the show out by live commentating the third match in the epic Ric Flair vs. Ricky Steamboat trilogy from WCW WrestleWar, which took place on May 7, 1989 from the Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee.
