Shooters Radio: Deep dive into SummerSlam 1990 from Philly

We’re heading back to 1990 this week and diving deep into the pay-per-view that was SummerSlam at the Philadelphia Spectrum. As a four-year-old, I was in attendance according to my family and friends! While I vaguely remember some things from a different vantage point, I can’t remember it all, so this week, Vaughn Johnson (@VaughnMJohnson) and I decided to watch the show, take copious amounts of notes, and deep dive once again into a classic wrestling event.

It wasn’t all pretty. There are some things we’ll unearth that just points to the way things were accepted back then, and they’re not great! Then we have Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior headlining a double main event with their respective matches. However, there were some bright moments and we make sure to give those moments their flowers.
