City issues run deep in this episode. Last week, the City of Philadelphia announced that it’s suing Pennsylvania so it can enact stronger gun safety laws. Philadelphia is seeking the invalidation of a set of regulations which would allow for the city to pass their own measures to lessen gun violence.

The lawsuit comes after the city has reached over 366 murders this year. The number is a decade-long high and eclipses the entire murder total for 2019.

You’ll also get the latest on events and happenings in the city.
