Not long after one Philadelphia Eagles player tested positive for COVID-19, the team placed four players on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

Defensive end Vinny Curry, wide receiver J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, running back Corey Clement were all placed on the list Thursday, while wide receiver Deontay Burnett was placed on the Practice Squad COVID-19 list. All four will likely miss this weekend’s game at the Cleveland Browns due to league quarantine procedures.

The Reserve/COVID-19 list was created for a player who either tests positive for COVID-19 or who has been in close contact with an infected person or persons.

“The Philadelphia Eagles received confirmation this morning that a player tested positive for COVID-19,” the team said in a statement. “The individual and close contacts who were identified through contact tracing are in self-isolation. We are following NFL-NFLPA intensive protocols and remain in communication with the league on this matter.”

Curry, 31, has played in five games this season, registering seven tackles, two sacks, and one tackle for loss while Clement rushed in his first touchdown of the 2020 campaign last weekend in a 27-17 loss to the New York Giants.

Second-year wideout Arcega-Whiteside has only recorded two catches for 45 yards in 2020 and only has 214 yards and one touchdown in total as an NFL players. Burnett has only played in two games this season, totaling 19 receiving yards on three catches.

The Eagles will look to rebound against the Browns on Sunday at 1 p.m.
