Afternoon Tug 6-1-15

Charles Barkley kicks the Tug off right! Chuck joined Colin Cowherd earlier today and had this to say about sports fans: “There are 10 percent that I would love to take out back and just shoot ’em.” Charles never scared to say exactly what’s on his mind. (Complex)

Barkley was speaking his mind on the Johnny Manziel incident over the weekend. Poor J-Football can’t stay out of trouble. (USAToday)

It finally happened today. (Will address this in the podcast) but Bruce Jenner posed for the cover of “Vanity Fair.” Only its not Bruce, its Caitlyn Jenner.  And how about Buzz Bissinger landing the story! Buzz is known for having, ass-less leather chaps around his house, wonder if he’s ever worn a dress? (VanityFair)

Always ask this on Monday’s but, “Who won the weekend?” Answer: GAME OF THRONES DID! And don’t read this if you haven’t already watched the episode. (Wired)

The Stanley Cup finals, thank god, will not feature Anaheim/TampaBay. The Chicago Blackhawks took out the Anaheim Ducks in their own building on Saturday night. Blackhawks will hoist Lord Stanley again. (Grantland)

Good nug from this weekend. Michael Jordan averaged 41 ppg vs the Suns in the 93 Finals. Needed every one of those points to get his third ring that year. I guess this is exactly what the Cavs will need if Lebron looks to get his third. (JordansWorld)
