Video: Giants Fan Loses In Every Way Possible

I don’t really love the reputation we get as Eagles fans when it pertains to violence, as I think it is very overstated, and, for the most part, we are good fans. I also don’t think violence is ever the answer, especially when it’s over a football game. That being said, this Giants fan taunting (drunkenly) Eagles fans in our house after losing was not a very smart idea.

I’ll let the video do all of the talking from here:

Lights out! Someone help this man go pick up his teeth and his dignity! Ugly game for Giants fans to watch, and even uglier for those that insist on chirping. Tell us what you think in the comments about the video. (H/T Barstool)

For those without Twitter access, here’s the video uploaded on YouTube:

For all of the bad, there is good as well!

As I tend to agree regarding the drunken fan running his mouth, I am curious to see what happened before he started running his mouth. Was he being taunted, like most, not all, but most Eagles fans do to people wearing an opposing teams jersey? Was not smart of him to run his mouth by any means but the video doesn’t paint the whole picture.

Eagles fans aren’t the only fans that do this. I think if you looked back at most of these incidents, you’ll find the person getting hit is running their mouth or probably starting it themselves. Yes, we like to razz people wearing the other team’s jersey, but it’s the guys that get nasty and argue back that leads to trouble. It was all be in good, competitive fun. I was at the game, and have been at Giants games before, and I actually tend to like the people that wear the other team’s jerseys. People like the Giants fan in this video are just out there looking for trouble. Then when he gets hit, it’s the Philly fans that continue getting the bad name. If only people would care more about serious issues in this world rather than beating each other up over liking a different sports team.
