The Cowboys Used a Rocky Quote for Motivation on Sunday Night

The Eagles handed the Cowboys a devastating loss on Sunday night in a game where 2-5 team, now 2-6, didn’t look very motivated to win. Maybe it’s because Dallas is not a great city, or maybe it’s because they just all finally realized they’re the Cowboys. And they needed some form of motivation, so who did they turn to?

Rocky, of course.

Let’s see that entire Rocky Balboa quote, Timmy:

“Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done!”

That’s obvious open-ended plagiarism by Cowboys defensive end, Jeremy Mincey. That’s why the Cowboys lost. Clearly, unequivocally, Rocky is the only person to ever use a quote like that, and thus, it’s attributed to him. And, of course, the Cowboys would steal it. And still lose the game.

Good riddance, Dall-ass.
