I’m all for a good hit when watching hockey games, but sometimes the result of a devastating hit isn’t fun to watch. Take last night, for example, when the Minnesota Golden Gophers took on the Wisconsin Badgers. Unfortunately for Minnesota’s Tommy Novak, he was on the receiving end of a brutal hit from Eddie Wittchow. Not only was it a big-time hit, but Novak’s landing from the impact of hitting the ground was nothing short of cringe-worthy.
