As if things weren’t bad enough on the Eagles’ front, now comes this. The 49ers have announced that Chip Kelly will be the next head coach of their team. Wow!

Let this sink in. Last week it was looking like Kelly would be left out in the cold when it came to finding a head coaching job in the NFL this year. Now, Kelly found a job before the Eagles found their head coach. Since Kelly was unemployed for the same amount of time that the Eagles didn’t have a head coach, perhaps Jeffrey Lurie needs to reach out to Kelly’s agent for assistance with finding a new coach.
And according to Ian Rapoport, Chip was trying to find a way to get Kaepernick to Philly. Before he was, you know, fired.

Agreed. Firing Chip was probably one of the dumbest moves Lurie ever made. Now Eagles will go from a high powered offense to no offense. He should have given him one more year. #pissed#
