Doug Pederson has been on the Eagles’ radar since the very start of their head coaching search. The interview with the two sides is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. in Kansas City on Sunday. It appears that the Eagles mean serious business here.
Derrick Gunn is reporting that Jeffrey Lurie, Howie Roseman AND Don Smolenski are all in Kansas City for the meeting with Pederson. All three big wigs were brought in for this interview and that’s very telling. Pederson is able to interview now that the Chiefs are done with their first playoff game.

Pederson’s Chiefs smoked the Texans on Saturday 30-0 and will play the Patriots in New England next Saturday for the right to play in the AFC Championship game. While the Eagles will meet with Tom Coughlin on Monday, it’s clear to me that Pederson is on top of their wish list.
