Poll: Who Should WIP Hire for the Afternoon Slot?

As we all know, WIP fired Josh Innes back in August and have been shuffling the deck of the station’s afternoon show with mostly the combinations of Glen Macnow and Jody MacDonald, and Howard Eskin with Hollis Thomas and Marc Farzetta.

With the announcement of the new WIP Midday Show featuring former 97.5’er Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie, Ike Reese is now joining the station’s afternoon show for a second time, but there hasn’t been a formal announcement as to who he’ll be partnered with. We’ve been hearing rumblings surrounding former WIP morning show contributor and current Atlanta and CBS Radio host, John Kincade. Kincade has kept his Philly ties since leaving the area, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see him return. There’s also former 97.5’er Jon Marks. Marks’ non-compete doesn’t end until after football season, and there’s no rush to currently replace the pretty good rotation WIP’s afternoon shift has going on right now.

So, we wanted to know what our readers think. Who should WIP bring in, or move, to co-host the WIP Afternoon Show with Ike Reese? We’ve put together this poll of the most logical choices, but feel free to share any extra names that we might have not included. Who would you listen to over Mike Missanelli during drive-time sports talk radio in Philly?
