Sean Couturier suffered a nasty-looking injury last night against the Panthers. Today, the Flyers placed him on IR and recalled Scott Laughton from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
Couturier is getting checked out in Philly today. We’ll update this post when more information becomes available.
UPDATE: Ron Hextall confirmed Couturier will miss only 4-6 weeks with a lower-body injury. CSN Philly reports it’s an MCL sprain. Given what the injury looked like last night, that’s might be the best case scenario.
