This Week in Cocktails: Parks on Tap Fernhil Park

Parks On Tap is at Fernhill Park this week. The beautiful terrain will be bursting with lively guest, food trucks, the best brews, and more. On Thursday from 6 p.m.-7 p.m., there will be free yoga in the park. This Saturday there will be live music performances by Unidos Da Filadelfia starting at 4 p.m. The hours for this roaming beer garden are Wednesday and Thursday 5 p.m. – 10 p.m., Friday 4 p.m. – 11 p.m., Saturday 1 p.m.- 11 p.m., and Sunday 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Jet Wine Bar: The South Street eatery Jet Wine Bar has a wide variety of global wines, savory small plates, and a fantastic brunch. This Saturday the establishment begins the series Old World vs. New World: A Tasting Series. The class explores how winemaking from different regions around the world affects the flavor of a wine. Each class includes a food pairing by Chef Yasi Sapp.

Cooker and Shakers: Kensington gastropub and local comfort food stop Cooker and Shakers is offering up pairing perk for all the guests who come to the Albert Street bar on Sundays from 5 p.m.-11 p.m. You can pair any of the eight rotating featured beers with any select sandwich on the menu for just $12. Come try their Blackened tuna sandwich, cheeseburger, veggie Italian, and more with your favorite brew.

The Bourse: This summer the historic structure The Bourse received some exciting new tenants.  The Bourse Marketplace is located directly across from Independence Hall and will now feature Takorean, Break Juicery, Barry’s Buns, TAPS Fill Station, and more.  If you’re in the mood for anything from Korean tacos, an energy boosted healthy juice, a scrumptious bakery delight, or a much-needed drink, look no further than here.

Reading Terminal Market: The Reading Terminal Market is one of the best places to find a variety. There are countless food options at this vendor surplus market. This Saturday come out to Diamond Day for food samples, free Taste of Philly food tours, prizes and raffles, and more.

Drink Philly Spring Fling Boat Party: Spirit of Philadelphia Cruises and Drink Philly will be throwing an ultimate weekday party this Wednesday, May 16th.  A dinner buffet, live music, drinks, and more will keep you entertained all night as you sail the Delaware River.

Night Market: This Thursday the Night Market takes over Northeast Philadelphia. Come to Cottman and Central in Burholme for this massive food truck festival. There will be live music, entertainment, drink, and more.

Philadelphia All-Star Craft Beer, Wine, and Cocktail Festival: This Saturday don’t miss your opportunity food drinks, food, amazing atmosphere, and an amazing ballpark experience at Citizens Bank Park. Over 100 craft beer,  wineries, breweries, and other vendors will be warming up the bases of the park this weekend.

Royal Wedding Viewing Party: Several locations in the city will be broadcasting one of the biggest days from across the pond this weekend. The Rittenhouse Square gem Mary Cassatt Tea Room & Garden will be having sandwiches, wedding cake, Pimm’s Cups, drinks, and more.

Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby: Kensington will be the place to be this Saturday for their annual sculpture derby. The all-day street fair will have art vendors, food trucks, and brews. Come see the local race their man-made sculpture down the street.

13th Annual Wheat Beer Festival: The 13th Annual Wheat Beer Festival is this Saturday. Come to South Philadelphia Tap Room for wheat beers samples, live music by DJ Too Tuff, food, and more.

Rock Band Jam: XFINITY Live! will be hosting a Rock Band Jam this Saturday from 10 p.m.-1 a.m. The entertainment venue will be the place to be for great food options, drink specials, and to show off your Rock Band Skills.

Conshohocken Restaurant Rally: This Sunday, get ready to be bused around to 15-20 Conshocken restaurants. You’ll be able to partake in tasting the signature dishes and drinks at each location throughout the day.
