Welcome the newest addition to the Pi Phillies coverage team!

The dream continues…

The dream of covering the sport that has had my soul since I was five years old watching Dutch, Kruker, LA, Lenny Dykstra and Terry Mulholland at the Vet paint Philadelphia red for that unbelievable ’93 run; I cannot believe I am sitting here typing this introduction to you now. I am proud and honored to be able to bring you wall-to-wall Phillies coverage including articles, tweets, podcasts and so much more.

As a season ticket holder for over a decade beginning in 2003, I was just a few feet away from moments like the closing of the Vet, our first win at Citizens Bank Park, Ryan Howard’s three homer game against the Braves, Brett Myers’ walk against CC Sabathia, the subsequent Shane Victorino Grand Slam and Cliff Lee beating AJ Burnett in game five of the 2009 World Series. I have been to more Phillies games than the other teams in this city combined, and that is saying something.

While attending La Salle University, I interned for 950 ESPN (that’s right, before it became 97.5 the Fanatic), Comcast SportsNet (I smell a trend here…) & the Camden Riversharks baseball team (and there it is). I was also the Marketing Manager for Sixers play-by-play voice Marc Zumoff for a summer. On top of those internships, I did color commentary for the La Salle Men’s basketball team, worked on numerous shows for La Salle TV, including Sports Talk Philadelphia and Sportsline, and was a voice on three separate radio shows on WEXP.

On top of contributing to Pi, I also host a pop culture podcast called We Podcast & We Know Things. We cover everything from film and TV to gaming, comics and music. We have interviewed bands like Sum-41, Hawthorne Heights, Cartel, the Early November and Mae. Other guests include Phil Moore (former host of Nick Arcade…yes, that Nick Arcade), Johnathon Schaech of That Thing You Do! and even former Phillies first rounder and World Series winner turned country music star Brett Myers! I hope you’ll find us on iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, etc, and subscribe!

If I am not watching sports or running a podcast, you can find me hanging out with my wife and daughter, watching Game of Thrones or playing on any and every Nintendo console.

I am also an avid fantasy sports player; I thought that tidbit deserved its own paragraph… it’s that out of hand.

Let’s get the Phillies discussion going on Twitter; you can find the links to follow me below. I am also happy to discuss anything baseball, hockey, football, WWE or nerd culture with you! I want the White Walkers to win, semicolons are underutilized in today’s society and Thanos gets a bum rap.

Ring the Bell!
