THE PICK? Eagles draft QB Jalen Hurts 53rd overall in the 2020 NFL Draft

With the 53rd pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles shocked the NFL and drafted former Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts. Analysts and fans scrambled to make sense of the pick as soon as the Heisman runner up’s name came out of the commissioner’s mouth. In 2019, Hurts passed for 3,851 yards, 32 TDs, and had only 8 INTs. He also rushed for 20 TDs in 2019. This picked will be talked about for seasons to come. With the talent on the board at multiple positions, taking a QB to execute a few gadget plays makes no sense. Eagles fans, we have some processing to do.
