The Eagles clinched not only the NFC East on Sunday evening, but the overall No. 1 seed in the NFC as they defeated the New York Football Giants’ JV squad. Hey, a win is a win is a win, regardless of how they got there.
A first-round bye means Jalen Hurts gets to rest up for another week to try to rehab that injured right shoulder, which Nick Sirianni said was “hurting bad” during the game yesterday. It looked as vanilla an offense as could be, but it was enough to get the job done. Something tells me we won’t see that same offense come playoff time.
