Some were nervous that the next shoe to drop in the dysfunctional Sixers’ organization was going to be Brett Brown’s eventual dismissal as the Sixers head coach. After all, Brown was a Hinkie hire and now that Hinkie resigned as general manager, the new guy in charge, Bryan Colangelo, might have a different head coach in mind.
According to a report from Keith Pompey, that won’t be the case.

In speaking to the media earlier today, Brown said he was frustrated, in a selfish sense, because Hinkie won’t stick around to see the fruits of his labor realized as a part of the organization.
