Sixers clinch home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs

The Sixers have officially clinched home-court advantage after defeating the Dallas Mavericks, 109-97, Sunday afternoon at the Wells Fargo Center.

With the win, the Sixers officially will finish the regular season in either the third or fourth seed in the Eastern Conference. Even if they lose their remaining two games, they’ll host the first two games of their first round series. It is yet to be determined who their first round opponent would be.

They’ll play the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday and and Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday to finish the regular season.
