Hey ladies! We kick off your morning with a huge congratulatons to the U.S. Women’s National Team! They’re heading to the FIFA Women’s World Cup final, taking place this Sunday at 7PM. (Team USA will face the winner of England/Japan) Amazing game from both teams. Fast paced, playmakers making plays and a missed penalty kick are some of the reasons we we’re on the edge of our seats all game. A lot of “experts” had Germany winning but after watching actually play on the field, Team USA looked like the stronger squad. Its 4th of July weekend and Team USA will face either Japan or England in the World Cup final, love that! (ESPN)
Sticking with the soccer theme, our Philadelphia Union pulled off an amazing victory as well last night. Playing with only 10 men, the Union scored 2 unanswered, 2nd half goals to beat rival D.C. United at PPL Park, 2-1, in a thrilling US Open cup battle. Just like last year, the Union are having success in the Open Cup tournament. (MLS)
NBA free agency kicked off with a bang this morning. Around 12:04, New Orleans Pelicans center, Anythony Davis signed a 5 year extension worth 145 million. The brow got paid and rightfully so. Davis is a top 5 player in the game, some might even say top 3. I’m just happy that its another kick in the gut for Knicks fans.

UFC deals with another setback. In what seems like a growing list of fights that have been cancelled or postponed due to fighters suffering injuries, add Jose Aldo/Conner McGregor. The fight between McGregor/Aldo was scheduled for July 11th in Las Vegas. The time and place will remain the same, only difference in the fight, it will feature Chad Mendes, instead of Aldo, vs Conner McGregor for the Interim Featherweight title . As long as McGregors fighting, thats all I care about. He’s worth the PPV purchase. (FoxSports)
