It only took Chip Kelly two week to find a new team to coach for. As you probably know by now, the San Francisco 49ers officially hired Kelly as their next head coach.

Here’s the official statement from the team courtesy of the team’s official website.
We are thrilled to announce Chip Kelly as the new head coach of the San Francisco 49ers. Chip has a proven track record at both the college and NFL levels that speaks for itself. We believe strongly that he is the right man to get this team back to competing for championships. I look forward to watching Trent and Chip work closely to build a team that will make us all proud.
Chip Kelly gave his thanks to the 49ers organization for hiring him.
“I would like to thank Jed, Trent, and the York family for this tremendous opportunity to be the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers. As one of the most historic franchises in the National Football League, I realize the high standards and expectations that this position demands and I embrace the challenges ahead. My immediate focus is to build the best coaching staff possible, one that will maximize the abilities of each of our players and put us in the best position to win football games.”
According to Adam Schefter his contract is for four years and $24 million dollars. That’s not bad at all considering all of the damage that he did to the Eagles’ organization.
New 49ers' HC Chip Kelly will be signing a 4-year, $24 million deal, according to a league source.

On top of that ESPN’s Darren Rovell mentioned that Kelly figures to be making at least $12.5 million for each of the next two years between his new deal with San Francisco and what the Eagles still owe him. It’s tough to feel bad for the guy after hearing what he’ll be making.
With Eagles $ & 49ers $, expect Chip Kelly to pull in at least $12.5 million a year for each of the next two seasons.

A big part of Kelly being fired in Philadelphia was the culture that he tried to develop on the team. It was nothing short of a disaster. But, with some big bank and maybe a lesson learned from Philadelphia, Kelly gets his chance at a fresh start in the Bay area. It won’t be easy, since the Niners aren’t very good. But, it can’t be much worse than it was in Philly, can it be?
Some guys have all the luck; some guys have all the fame.
Chip got screwed in philly he never had a chance to see it through thanks to a meddling flying by the seat of his pants owner in Jeffy lurie the stumbling fool
