Mother Nature struck on Saturday, cancelling the regularly scheduled Philadelphia Flyers-New York Islanders game. The contest will be made up at a later date in Brooklyn.
However, the roads are getting cleared and spirits are high in Philadelphia, as we’re going to have some hockey action on Monday night. The Flyers, losers of two in a row, are now seven points out of a playoff spot.
The team that they are chasing, the Boston Bruins, are coming to town for a critical game on Monday night.
It is imperative for the Flyers to win this game in order to stay in the Wild Card hunt.
