The writing has been on the wall for some time, but on Tuesday night, Renee Chenault-Fattah announced that she is leaving NBC10 after 25 years as an anchor.
She took to Facebook with this post:
Hey Facebook Family : A new year brings change for all of us. One change for me is leaving NBC10. My love for the people of the Delaware Valley goes all the way back to my days as a law student at Penn.
I have had a terrific 24years as a reporter and anchor at NBC10 and I wish the team all the best.
Thinking about my successes over the last quarter century makes me excited and optimistic about the opportunities that await. Stay tuned.
According to The Inquirer, NBC10 confirmed the split in an email, saying “she remains a friend and valued colleague” and thanking her for her many years of service. Chenault-Fattah had been placed on leave for the past six months, stemming from the federal indictment of her husband, U.S. Rep. Chaka Fattah.
In the indictment, prosecutors allege that Chenault-Fattah and her husband used $18,000 from the 2012 sale of her 1989 Porsche Carrera convertible to lobbyist Herbert Vederman to buy a vacation home in the mountains but kept the car. Chenault-Fattah has maintained that the sale was legitimate despite keeping the car in her garage for for more than two years, even paying to service and insure it.
She and her fake muslim husband should be behind bars. “Chaka” is under federal indictment and still running for re-election. Unreal. Notice all these democrats get away with murder because the voters are dumb?
