Fletcher Cox 49th in NFL Network’s Top 100

The Philadelphia Eagles finally have a member in the NFL Network’s Top 100 Players of 2016 and it’s none other than Fletcher Cox.

The Eagles’ star defensive tackle was ranked No. 49.

Here are the players ranked ahead of Cox: Chandler Jones (48), Eli Manning (47), Philip Rivers (46), Trent Williams (45), Tyler Eifert (44), Ziggy Ansah (43), Tyron Smith (42) and Le’Veon Bell (41).

Quite frankly, this is a joke. Manning and Eifert better than Cox!?

No way!

Cox is most likely going to be the one and only Eagle that will make this list unless Malcolm Jenkins is in the Top 40. He’s the only other player who would have a chance to crack that mark.

Just from glancing at the list, I laughed when I came across Chris Ivory, Alex Smith and Kirk Cousins. They’re certainly not better than Jenkins.

I’ve never been a fan of these rankings and don’t watch the show. I plan on keeping it that way.
