Bleacher Report’s documentary about Michael Vick, simply entitled Vick, will debut Monday, July 11th. Here’s a trailer for the documentary that was posted today.
The redemption of Michael Vick. I can only imagine how that’ll go over with the masses. The redemption of any criminal hardly plays well to them. So, it’ll be interesting to see how Bleacher Report paints this.
Vick was a polarizing figure when he played in Philadelphia. He still is to a certain degree. But I’m interested in watching this. And it won’t affect my personal opinion of him, good or bad.
Here’s the synopsis:
Michael Vick has been through it all.
The dual-threat playmaker was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2001 NFL draft, set numerous quarterback rushing records, made four Pro Bowls and amassed a fortune playing football.
Then it all disappeared. A dog-fighting scandal sent him from the gridiron to prison.
From that point on, it was up to Vick to redeem himself.
Vick has encountered plenty of highs and lows throughout his career. Now, as his NFL tenure winds down, the 35-year-old quarterback is looking back and opening up about his up-and-down past.
Yup. It’ll definitely be interesting to see the reaction to this one.
