Philly, which obviously has a plethora of big men that include Simmons, Jahlil Okafor, Joel Embiid, Nerlens Noel and now Dario Saric, did not have room for Wood in that loaded frontcourt. He thanked Philadelphia via Twitter for giving him an opportunity.
Seriously, philly thanks for the love and everything you guys have done for me in a year ….true love

The 20-year-old undrafted UNLV product averaged 3.6 points and 2.2 rebounds per game over 17 contests for the Sixers last season. The lanky forward showcased some serious skill and athleticism during his Summer League stint to go along with a solid face-up game. He still needs some work with his post moves and rebounding and could put on some more weight, but his eye-popping play over those handful of games earned him that contract.
