It was just six days ago when Shepherd was signed to the practice squad and Greene was cut.
Shepherd was a 2015 sixth-round pick out of Kansas and was slated to be the team’s nickel cornerback a year ago before tearing his ACL. Greene, meanwhile, is an undrafted free agent out of San Diego State.
