The first of many releases between now and Saturday’s 4 p.m. deadline just occurred.
The Philadelphia Eagles released linebacker Myke Tavarres on Friday night, according to a report by Turron Davenport of USA Today.

Tavarres, of course, was the player who originally said he wouldn’t stand for the national anthem prior to Thursday night’s game against the Jets before later changing his mind.
The Eagles have at lease 21 more cuts to go.
Davenport’s report was later confirmed by CSN Philly.
