I thought it was a hit Brandon Manning got away with Saturday night during the Stadium Series game against the Pittsburgh Penguins because there was no penalty called. However, the NHL Department of Player Safety dropped the hammer on Manning today for this brutal hit on the Pens’ Jake Guentzel.
Manning was suspended two games. He’ll miss games against the Colorado Avalanche and Florida Panthers at home.
