NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that it’s a one-year deal.
It's a 1-year deal similar to the $2.4M he made last year with #Patriots. Smart locker room signing https://t.co/vCqBIui4Cp

The 32-year-old Long (he turned 32 today) played his first eight years with the St. Louis Rams before signing with the New England Patriots last season. The former No. 2 overall pick posted 22 tackles, four sacks and a forced fumble in 2016.
The sign adds some depth at the defensive end spot following the release of Connor Barwin.
Long, the son of former Villanova and NFL standout Howie Long, had a three-year stretch from 2011-13 where he recorded 33 sacks, but dealt with injury issues and has put up just eight the last three seasons.
Long is ready to get to work.
I'm ready to work!!! #FlyEaglesFly
