When Ellen DeGeneres handed Chris Long a $30,000 check for his Pledge 10 for Tomorrow charity at the end of his interview for The Ellen Show, his reaction was priceless.
“Are you kidding me, thank you so much,” the Philadelphia Eagles defensive end gleefully remarked as he put his hands over his head. Long really is doing something bigger than football and has literally put his money where his mouth is.
More players should follow suit!

Long went on the show to discuss why he’s donating all the money he’s making this season, which is just shy of $1 million, to scholarships and charities that support educational equity. You can watch the entire segment below.
